Online Shops' Filters

Fake something

  • Fake customers or # of product: some shop fake a product being sold quickly, or customers being interested in a product... Anything dynamic should be suspicious, it would be very costly to follow such information in real-time. So if it's there and the site is not an actual bidding site, it's probably fake. But we can verify it anyway!

  • Fake bidding site: some site pretend to be a bidding site to encourage you to buy at the price they want. Similar to "Fake customers or # of product", there is generally nothing aside what the web-page shows you (the server does not actually do any bidding, it's only shown to you).

Selling suspicious things

  • counterfeits: it is fully ok to sell something inspired by, for instance a watch looking a bit like a Rolex. But it's not ok to sell a full copy...

  • stolen goods: does not need any explanations

  • keys that are not for resale: that is specific to software, games or not. Some shop sell keys they got from various ways which are not allowed by the key source (the shop where you will reclaim the key). In that case there is a risk that the key you sold will not work, or only until the key source deactivate it.
