Limited token support for Base Solana bridging: Only USDC/ETH work reliably #1205
Description
Today (December 8, 2025), I tried bridging tokens using Across Protocol:
From Base to Solana: USDC and ETH worked fine, but other tokens showed "not supported" errors.
From Solana to Base: Same issue—only USDC succeeded; others failed to initiate.
This limits usability for smaller tokens or altcoins. Based on Across docs, only USDC and USDT seem officially supported for Base-Solana, but ETH appearing to work suggests partial/inconsistent support.
