ARIA in HTML has recently switched to a living standard model. Because we're using ARIA in HTML in a rule it means a change in ARIA in HTML can result in the meaning of a rule changing. For HTML and DOM which are also living standards we've dealt with that by adding a date to the links so that if those documents change in a way that affects the rule people can work out what the definition was when the rule was last updated. So we're going to need to do the same with ARIA in HTML.

The next recommendations of HTML AAM and SVG AAM will also be living standards. We'll soon need the same for links to those two specs, so we might as well do them together.
