<Radio /> in single select mode items?

react-aria-components support adding <Checkbox slot="selection" /> in collections when selectionMode="multiple" (e.g. GridList / Tree). Was wondering if something similar can be achieved when selection mode is single?

Tried something like this, but <Radio /> doesn't support isSelected prop

I understand, that I can achieve this <RadioGroup /> with the same styling, but thinking it would be nice to have single component and just pass selectionMode prop. What I'm trying to achieve:

I'm sure there's a reason why this isn't supported, yet was not able to find this in docs.

Radios need to be in a radiogroup role, and collections generally has some other role such as gridlist.
You could share the element which visually looks like a radio, and use it in both your Radio and in the collections Checkbox. I know it's not quite as nice as having them be completely the same element, but there are accessibility restrictions here unfortunately.
