add an install

@brlanier @javierg , since this always need the same files to be present, what do you guys think about adding an install that copies the templates over, or .example of each so you don't have to remember to copy each one from some other app

Yes. That is part of the plan. This gem is still in its infancy and the template stuff is not necessary for the gem to work in the apps, so it was deemed lower priority.
At a minimum, I would like to see the following files generated from a template:

config/db_config.yml
config/local_config.tmp.yml  # With good examples and some documentation/comments in this one
config/_vhost.conf.erb
config/_database.yml.erb
config/app_config.yml

The last three could be generated based on switches: include both .erb files by default and then include one or the other based on flags or switches. The third one could possibly take an app name or something and provide a basic working app_config.yml file with directories filled out, etc.
Just some thoughts.

I would even argue that perhaps we can provide a way to override the templates. Not everyone is going to want to set things up the way I do in the vhost file for instance.
