What scrollTarget attribute option do in remoteNonStopPageScroll internally #25

I know the basic idea of scroll function for window, however when I tried to pass div for which I want my scroll to be work to perform nonStopPageScroll functionality, I got JavaScript error like div is not defined.

How this is possible?
