Refine direction & detection

Currently, an object is detected and reported when it crosses the midpoint of the screen. However, this doesn't always happen (e.g., a bus parked in front at the midpoint, blocking the view). I'd like to create a more dynamic detector that is more focused on movement than crossing a boundary.
