v1.0.7.8 (LEGACY) Pre-release
Pre-release

LEGACY PERMISSIONS - marking this as a pre-release because it's not the official build on the Web Store - more info: https://github.com/andryou/scriptsafe/tree/legacypermissions

  • Updated list searching to eliminate noticeable lag when browsing if you have a large whitelist/blacklist
  • Reverted update change to "Respect Same-Domain" behaviour; while I had good intentions, it required you to allow a page to load which would allow it globally
  • If experienced issues with panel opening previously, it should now open more consistently and entirely
  • Improved IPv6 compatibility
  • Updated unwanted content providers list

v1.0.7.7

  • Added hotkey support (I have to admit, I'm in love with this feature):
    • Temporarily allow/block all resources for a current tab (default: CTRL+SHIFT+S)
    • Remove temporary permissions for a current tab (default: CTRL+SHIFT+R)
    • Remove all temporary permissions (default: CTRL+SHIFT+Q)
    • To set-up/configure the hotkeys: go to Chrome Settings, Extensions, and click on Keyboard Shortcuts at the bottom of the page
  • Added option to hide update notifications (on this note, I will push updates less frequently due to feedback, my apologies)
  • Made revoking temporary permissions more granular (for current page OR entire session; previously it would clear the entire session's temporary permissions)
  • Improved panel appearance and behaviour
  • Reduced redundancies in the core logic (which should boost performance)
  • Improved whitelisting of unwanted domains when in "Relaxed" mode
  • Made "Respect Same-Domain" behaviour more secure; now requires you to allow/temporarily allow a blocked page in order for it to load same-domain elements
  • Fixed syncing
  • Updated unwanted content providers list
