Pinning not working properly when columns are auto-sized

When column widths are not specified, a strange empty column seems to appear when a column is pinned to the left and right. See the Plunker below. Notice the odd gap to the left of the Age column

We have the same problem, we support mobile and desktop view and on mobile, the pinned column renders fine, but when there is enough space for the data to render without horizontal scrolling, a vertical scrollbar is added between the right pinned column and the rest of the columns (note, it works fine for left pinned columns). This means we cannot use this functionality unfortunately.
