Best way to execute code on the failure scenario

For example my test failed, and I'd like to print some logs and so on.

Is there any test sequence that can be used (something like side_effect/verify/cleanup/destroy)?

I could add it into cleanup, but then I'm not sure how to detect if the test failed or not. So I hope there is some dedicated place.

If there is not, the alternative can be Ansible's block and rescue?
