boto vs boto3 dependency #3052

Hello,
I' running into an issue with boto due to proxy configuration.
boto/boto#3699

I tried to remove boto however it looks like molecule depends on boto instead of boto3.
Is there any way to force use of boto3 instead of boto?

 molecule --version
molecule 3.0.8
   ansible==2.9.9 python==3.6
