[Release] Add verification tasks for Ubuntu 24.04

Describe the enhancement requested

We have verification tasks for Ubuntu LTS 20.04 and 22.04 but do not have for 24.04.
We should add verification tasks for Ubuntu 24.04 as we will be dropping support for 20.04 soon.
