Ability to do Present Position "to"

when going along an airway ATC will often provide "go direct xyz" when selecting that waypay avare is simply activating that flight segment or leg. You should be able to say go direct xyz by selecting the waypoint in the plan page and it would be active from your current possition, eg "PPOS"

FIND, type waypoint name, SELECT and you have a magenta line from PPOS. I just tried it with THNDER... Now since I am not flying, it would be cool if, on reaching THNDER, I could resume previous flight plan, or new fix by a simple prompt. (and it may be able to be done), I just don't know.
