Space in target Gives Cryptic Error

Low priority but...

If you have a space at the beginning of your target attribute as follows...

{
   "config": {
       "target": " https://www.google.com",
       "phases": [
           [...]

...you get the following cryptic error.

 "errors": {
           "Protocol \"https:\" not supported. Expected \"http:\".": NNNN
       },

A trim might be appropriate. That or a more appropriate and helpful error message.

Yes, agree. In general we need better validation + helpful error messages & warnings.
