Feature: Create your own shortcuts

Hi,

On a Mac, keyboard shortcuts usually use the Command key (Cmd+A, Cmd+Z, etc.); in Art, those same shortcuts use the Control key.

Also, to switch between photos in the editor, you have to use the F3 and F4 keys (Fn+F3 and Fn+F4 on Mac); it would be a bit simpler and more intuitive to be able to use the left and right arrow keys.

Hence my request: would it be possible to have an option in the settings that allows users to customize certain shortcuts themselves? Or is there a file that can be edited to do this?

Shortcuts are currently hardcoded, unfortunately. I agree that having the ability to load custom ones from a file would be great. It's a nontrivial amount of work though -- nothing difficult, just tedious. But let's keep this open and see if anyone is willing to contribute the feature.
