Usage

Finder

  1. Open a new Finder window
  2. Press CMD + ,

General

Show these items on the desktop

  • ☒ Hard disks
  • ☒ External disks
  • ☒ CDs, DVDs, and iPods
  • ☑ Connected servers

New Finder windows show

  • Select your user directory

Tags

Disable all tags.

  • Size slider → 33%
  • ☑ Magnification
  • Magnification slider → 50%
  • Position on screen → Bottom

Menu Bar

  • ☒ Automatically hide and show the menu bar on desktop

Control Center

  • Uncheck Show in Menu Bar for all items.
  • Check Show in Control Center for

  • Data Options: Show data → when space allows

  • ☒ Use a 24-hour clock
