Cant reproduce, UI looks good in landscape for me, were you using PWA app? that helps with screensize as it lets some of your phones UI get hidden

PWA Apps are provided by the browser, so you use your web-browser go to the page, your browser detects its an application and gives you the option to "install" it as an app. But all it does really is put a shortcut on your home screen and you open it and it behaves like a web-browser but its locked solely to that site, no URL bar, no webbrowser UI like favourites or anything.

From google, the way you do it in safari is you go file then add to dock apparently. I dont have iOS or safari to check.

Ok I figured how to do it using Safari. I now indeed have an app icon of qui installed and when I open that, there is no more URL bar, so it fills the whole screen.

But landscape mode is still not showing it like on your example picture:
