When an entity, i.e. a lightbulb, goes offline, it continues to show as being online. This causes issues with automations, and usability.

same here. It works perfectly until version 2.07 and Core 11.3. If you upgrade Xtend_tuya or Core, offline entities show online status.
Update:
If I use Local Tuya instead of Tuya integration, eveything works, also with the last Core update (2025.1.1) and Xtend_tuya 3.07

@azerty9971 I know this problem hasn't been acknowledged yet, but FYI I am happy to provide any additional logs/details as needed.

Hello,
Can you retry with v3.0.8-beta.1?

Thanks in advance,

Negative, the issue persists. Rebooting HA after a device goes offline/online is still the only way I have been able to trigger an update.
