Use with other integrations

I was using the official Tuya integration along with https://github.com/AlessandroTischer/tuya_climate_mult_edit/ to correct the thermostat readings. I've added this integration using HACS as in the readme. However, I'm not sure how to proceed. Ideally, I'd like to use this integration in the "XT +Cloud" mode but I'm not sure how to proceed. Do I simply delete the official Tuya integration but keep the multi edit integration? Or something else? (Does this integration take the credentials used by the official integration even if it's deleted?)
