Build System Changes ==>

  • Incremental builds are now supported (out/Release is no longer deleted) to speed up building
  • Faster cleaning on first build or rebuild by running JOBS=4 dpkg-buildpackage -b -uc -nc (note the '-nc' addition)
  • Building via tarball download/extraction is now supported
  • Lots of changes to README.md with updated build instructions (thanks to jolly-jump)

  • Option to disable TLS resumption (via a switch in /etc/chromium.d/anti-tracking)
  • Optional patches for builders to enable AVX and AVX2/FMA/FMA3/FMA4 instructions
  • Built with symbol_level=0 for much smaller dbgsym debs
  • Various build system improvements (including a patch to customise the location of thinlto-cache)
