code works locally but not in production

The key doesn't seem to work on my server:

I have validated the key is being logged properly right before usage.

NewsAPIError: apiKeyInvalid: Your API key is invalid or incorrect. Check your key, or go to https://newsapi.org to create a free API key.

It works fine locally.

This code only works on node 12, not 14 or 15.
