I have already tried it. But after like 3 replies the live chat and e-mail supports keeps ignoring my messages already for weeks! I am feeling like I was scammed here.

Can you help me out with a link to the chat you mean? My attempts contacting the support have gone south. Maybe I was trying to contact the wrong support.

All of above are scams, go to cake wallet app -> support if you want to contact our support team

Hi @exislow can you provide more info so we can better assist you
please try to restore your wallet again and see if that fixes the issue
if not, please contact our support as @MrCyjaneK mentioned, the only legit way is from the cake wallet app => support, and send them a screenshot of your coin control screen from the newly restored wallet and they will send it to the dev team

This same issue is also occurring for me, restoring the wallet from a seed showed no funds, restoring the wallet from a backup showed the funds but repeated the same error.

any updates on this? When I restore my seed, the addresses that have balance are not available, the coins only show up from a full backup, I have no idea what's going on, electrum also has no balance, but the transactions are clearly on the blockchain, I just cannot send my coins anywhere

It would be really helpful if I could have some idea of how to access the Ltc addresses that show up in the backed up wallet, but not the restored seeds on a separate cake Wallet install or electrum, preferably not a response by scammers lol.

I can't figure out how to access my private keys, only seeds, how do I find the private keys for my cake Wallet addresses?

@dissociativity: Do not fall for scammers, who post fake support links here. There are plenty of them here.

To be honest, I am stuck in the same situation. And the official support (chat and e-mail) just do not want to help. This is so frustrating. In my opinion this cake wallet is a huge scam.

@exislow there's an electrum refactor pull request that might fix our issue when ready

Any updates? @OmarHatem28
I have been unable to access my funds for weeks now, restoring the backup shows the funds in two addresses, but they cannot be sent, restoring the seed for the wallet does not show funds at all, for some reason the backup has different addresses to the seed provided in the security and backup section of the app, and I cannot restore my wallet with electrum and see any coins that way either!

I've contacted support a couple of weeks ago, and nothing has come of it.

We are investigating this issue as one of our top priorities, so far we have not able to reproduce it unfortunately, so we are trying multiple approaches in the hope of narrowing it down and finding where the issue is coming from, any further info would be greatly appreciated, like:

  1. when was the wallet created (or on which version if you remember)
  2. whether the stuck funds are the first transaction/s in this wallet
  3. was this wallet created with a passphrase
  4. was MWEB enabled in this wallet before
  5. when you restore on other apps (Electrum LTC or else) do you see some of your funds or all of them are not there
  6. what are the addresses of the coins that are stuck (you can see that from the coin control screen on the send page)

Appreciate your patience and sorry for any inconvenience this has caused

@omar
If you could add the ability for me to export the private keys for individual addresses (and thus the addresses that aren't available when stored from a seed, which are under "hidden addresses"), my problem would be solved I imagine, as I'd be able to spend the coins from another wallet, alas there is no documentation on how to extract my private keys from cake Wallet, I can only backup to a format that other wallets can't use, or to a seed phrase which is missing the addresses with balance!

For me, the solution was very simple... When you want to send, do not select "All" in the quantity field. Instead, enter the amount you want to send, and it must be less than the total quantity.
I had 25 LTC. In the first transaction, I tried sending 1 LTC, and the transaction was successful immediately. After that, I was able to send the entire amount at once without any issues.

I've tried sending amounts very small small, medium large, each address's coin content, it still had the same error tragically

@OmarHatem28: Thank you so much. You can find the asked information below.

  1. when was the wallet created (or on which version if you remember)

It was created with the latest version (at that time) around 2024-11-25. Version number was 1.14.0 (95) (macOS App from the App Store)

Image

  1. whether the stuck funds are the first transaction/s in this wallet

The wallet had only one successful transaction: It received the funds. No other successful transaction could be made afterwards. As I have tried to send the funds the error, described in my very first post, appeared.

Do you need the transaction ID of the received funds transaction?

  1. was this wallet created with a passphrase

I did create it with a "Electrum" type passphradse, which I choose on my own.

  1. was MWEB enabled in this wallet before

I do not think, it was enabled. If I remember correctly, MWEB is only available within the Cake Wallet iOS app. This wallet was created and only used with the macOS App version.

  1. when you restore on other apps (Electrum LTC or else) do you see some of your funds or all of them are not there

If have tried to restore it with Cake Wallet and Also Electrum-LTC. After the restoration no funds are shown (0 LTC).

  1. what are the addresses of the coins that are stuck (you can see that from the coin control screen on the send page)
  • Amount: 0.87744969 LTC
  • Transaction ID: 47c61ffc3535a3d0905108f83af6fe625697334ee898876d5f86e9bcd20f6555
