I dislike all of these} names:

@tedspare I'm curious about this issue too, and I'm happy to provide PR, but quick question: is there any architectural need for this (adding [ID-42]) or it's just for convenience?

Hey @neoromantic, happy to review! It can be removed safely I believe. There's at least one RegEx check for [ABC-123] in the title, but this has no side effects IIRC.
