[Bug] Map Icon Names Not Regenerating

Summary

Map icon names do not regenerate when panning or zooming the world map. text only reappears after page refresh or swapping from globe to flat views.

Steps to Reproduce

1. load page
2. scale map

Expected Behavior

text should persist with map scaling

Actual Behavior

Text disappears upon map re-scaling
