[macOS 15.7.2] Build errors on features "only available in macOS 26.0 or newer"

Bug summary

I wanted to use this for a sidebar in a React Native macOS app. I'm currently using version 0.78.3 of react-native-macos, and building on macOS 15.7.2. I get these build errors. I tried to get codex to patch it, but then it didn't display anything, so I guess it patched it wrong 😅

I created a PR fixing this issue: #486 I also built Legend Music and it looks like it uses old architecture for macOS.. this might be the issue why nothing is rendering for you. You may need to use an older version of this library (pre 1.0.0) https://github.com/callstackincubator/react-native-bottom-tabs/releases/tag/react-native-bottom-tabs%400.11.2 which still supported old arch.

I'm waiting for the next version of react-native-macos which will support new arch, so I'll give this library another shot when I can be on new arch :).
