Emphasize that GaussPy is for large datasets

The first examples of GaussPy, e.g., the simple gaussian, may lead users to feel that GaussPy is superfolous.

Perhaps in the introduction we could provide a figure of many decompositions and some statistics. Statistics might include:

• Decomposed X spectra into Y components in Z minutes on a standard laptop.
• Decomposed huge number of observations into a basis set of Y*3 parameters.

Do you mean like a flashy figure? How about Fig. 5.3, I don't think we want to go over the whole thing in the introduction, that is the rest of document for.
