selection of configuration profile
cogwheel button to open configuration window

Configuration window:

responsive
intuitive to beginners, should follow a similar scheme as the GNOME sound settings
separate from extension configuration?
profile-based configuration
only dbus-controllable options
setting for status refresh rate? Or rely on sane default?
