Bug: Keyboard layout is not considered in the sign column #126

Hey, thanks for your plugin!
Just a quick note:
I work using a German keyboard layout:
When I set a mark with m0 I get a closing brace in the sign column and at the same time the mark is registered correctly:
mw to set a mark for w just works fine.
The character in the sign column does not consider the keyboard layout.
