For setting up PTT to use Hamlib rigctld, what does your code send to trigger PTT? Snooping on the port it looks like it checks if the ptt is on (sends "t" - if not transmitting rigctld responds with "0") and then sends a second message to trigger the PTT (sends "T 0"). However, "T 0" would have it go back to RX - I think it should send "T 1", output the audio, and then go back to sending "T 0".
Also, for the "Test Connection" button in the PTT Config for Hamlib, there should be some result shown (pass/fail, connected/error, etc.).
