Design and develop software for Router Security solution that aids various deployment modes to Moxa Secure Remote Access routing products.
Resolve Technical Issues on both standard and customized products.
Troubleshoot and test customer network. Technical issues include network-related problems, system failures, and routing changes
Performance tuning and software updates.
Continually develop protocols and drivers on networking products.
Test and Evaluate Software.
Testing and evaluating software and hardware, Moxa engineers ensure reliability. To maintain systems, they develop processes to improve network functionality.
Quality Process with Software Design Specifications.
Write design specifications for new product features.
Conduct and participate in peer design/code reviews.
Technical Sharing.
Technical sharing on different purpose, include project, technology, and analysis.
What You'll Do
Your role will be a Software Engineer and you will be part of a remote access technology team who is driving Moxa’s IIoT innovation.
Focus on the remote access application scenarios for cellular devices including data acquisition, remote maintenance, remote monitoring, and factory automation.

Education Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Wireless Communication, Electronics, Electricals or related field.
Required Competencies
Experience with C programming in Unix/Linux environment
Familiar with knowledge of core network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP)
Experience with one IoT messaging and IP protocols, (e.g., MQTT/CoAP/RabbitMQ/AMQP)
Experience with embedded systems development concepts, including cross-platform development and build tools (e.g., GNU toolchain, OpenWRT, buildroot, Yocto), bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot, UEFI), kernel configuration, device drivers, device trees.
Experience with one or more wireless protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, GSM/CDMA/3G/4G)
Fluent written and reading English skills
Bonus points for
Experience with Linux OS, routers, or firewall
Experience with python programming or shell scripting in embedded Unix/Linux environment
Knowledge of VPN connection technologies, cryptographic applications and information security in general
Experience with building cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., web applications)
Experience in working with version control tools (e.g., SVN, CVS or Git)
