Description

There are times when it is important to know details about a calculation. This could be achieved by having a global flag that determines the level of output.
Level 0 -- only results
Level 1 -- some general information such as whether the calculation was done in memory or with disk.
Level 2 -- more information
Level 3 -- extensive details
The "book version" that was the basis for the book, Computational Atomic Structure: An MCHF approach, was an early program that produced output for energy expressions, and other details that are helpful for understanding a calculation. The level structure for output facilitates the control of output.
