Integrate {appropriate} screen display elements from DenCam into Scrubcam

A lot of the screen display features from DenCam would be useful in Scrubcam, particularly being able to see the output from the camera so the user can focus it. In some previous version they were included but we dropped them for some unknown reason. Let's get them back.
