The Entries field type comes with a 'Selectable Entries Condition' setting (and a few others) - wondering if this can be applied to the Categories field type as well?
Use Case 1
In a 3-level category structure, I'm looking to associate products with either the 2nd or 3rd level (some top-level categories only go one level deeper, others go two).
So while I'm hoping the entire three-level category structure can be displayed, the top-level would ideally be read-only - forcing the user to make a 2nd or 3rd level selection.
Use Case 2
We have a range of buildable components our client can use, one which features the top-level(1) categories, and one that features second-level categories, however there is no way to restrict selections in the CMS to just level 1 or 2 respectively.
