You can enter a name, and it can be anything that can be put into a text box.

I already know how to solve this but I need to get some sort of function that parses the strings and checks for issues.

I temporarily added a cap on name sizes at 9 characters.

What do you mean? Can you implement limits on names? Yes, it should be possible.
