poor handling of large images #2

I tried to use This image as the background image, but the top half is cut off and the grid doesn't cover the bottom. And that's at 100%. I'd like to blow it up much more to get the fine details
An ideal solution would let the user mouse around a very large image so that they can capture fine details over a large image.
