Truncation of data when encountering dashes and underscores #30

Hi,
I'm currently using easypubmed to extract author contact information from a set of PMIDs, but whenever it encounters a dash or underscore it truncates the address. For example, the email address [email protected] would be truncated to [email protected]. Is there some way to fix this locally or is it an issue with how pubmed stores data?
