Only merge items that belong to the same library

I bet it's super easy to do but I also know that you need to know some understanding of programming, which I don't have.
As things stand, the plugin merges movies across all the libraries, but for some of us it would be really beneficial to get the merge performed at library level only.

Hi, you can exclude certain paths from merging on the configuration page. Isn't that sufficient?

I came here to ask about the same thing. I have two libraries, one named Movies - Kids and another Movies - Kids 4K
They both contain the same movies but the 4K library has 4K Versions in the mix as well. If I restrict a user to only the HD library "Movies - Kids" then the 4K titles end up merged into the HD library and they'll end up with access to both regardless. This is an issue.
