Merge versions plugin doesn't respect excluded paths since at least 10.9.9

I have libraries for 1080p and for 2160p content each. access to the 2160p library is restricted, so I excluded all paths where 4K content is stored in the settings of the Merge Versions plugin.

However, the plugin still merges all movie versions, regardless of their path, including the 4K versions. Is this broken in the later versions of Jellyfin 10.9.x? I seem to remember the path exclusions working previously.
