I have a superGrok account and want to use the Grok API with fabric. I went through setup "fabric --setup" and configured GrokAI and set the default model (GrokAI|grok-4-0709).
When I ask questions though, it seems clear that the model is an older version. It assumes the year is 2023, it reports that it is Grok-Beta or Grok-1.5 (it goes back and forth).
When I run my prompt through Grok's web interface I get much higher quality answer, longer response (I am building a detailed lesson plan).
I have spent several hours following instructions from Grok and ChatGPT on how to troubleshoot it. Their consensus is that there is somethign being lost in the API call and a fallback model is being used instead.
I double checked my API keys, they are showing activity and have full permissions.
