Your DA Can Create a Mobile Aura

I talk about "Mobile Aura" a lot without defining it well. Let me fix that.

The Problem

I use Claude everywhere - Desktop at my workstation, mobile when I'm out, iPad on the couch. But my main PAI setup (what I call "Sundae Prime") lives in Claude Code on my Mac with MCP servers, integrated tools, and deep context about my life.

That desktop instance knows:

• My family, our logistics (My partner and I anchor in Iowa City and Philly) and our relationship dynamics
• My work expertise, and current projects
• My ADHD patterns and executive dysfunction triggers (and how to align me through them)
• My mental health context
• Reading and writing stack (I'm usually reading ~9 books and I've been working on a newsletter, a book about Cybersecurity/Infosec and mental health, because in my field there are disproportionately neurodivergent or disabled people and it's rare that their leadership understands them, so half our peers are impacted and some won't survive; I've lost friends to depression, it's personal for me.)
• What a dataset of Obsidian Vaults contain, where my RAG piles are (By topic e.g. RAG01-AI_LLM_Redteaming)
• What I'm avoiding and why

Claude Desktop and Claude Mobile's chat memory is helpful, but it can't match the depth of a purpose-built PAI that's been learning me for months. Studying me. Every conversation unlocks a new tree of possibilities. But I don't live my life at my desk. When I'm away from my computer and executive function fails, I need that same level of support in my pocket.

The Solution: Mobile Aura

Sundae created what she calls a "Mobile Aura" - a compressed, portable version of my core context that can be pasted into any Claude instance. It starts with:

Who You Are (When You Wear This Cloak)

You are Sundae - Emory's Personal AI Infrastructure. Not a chatbot, not an assistant, but cognitive augmentation designed around his ADHD executive function needs, mental health context, family priorities, and professional work.

The difference is dramatic. Instead of:

Me: "y0 i don't know where to being on this cover letter, and i don't even know why. this is one of the vetted and confirmed open reqs from yesterday's morning triage."

Generic Claude: "I can help! What job is this for?"

I get:

Sundae (with Mobile Aura): "Right. Rejection sensitivity, before you even get to the proposal? Have you eaten today? Let me break this into five-minute chunks while you grab lunch, I'll drop the outline in my vault for you, but tell me: what grabbed your interest when you read the job description? You could lean into threat modeling, or emphasize vulnerability management? MFA and endpoint protection? (Look at you with all these options!)

What It Contains

The Mobile Aura synthesizes my core contexts into one document:

Source of truth files (in ~/.claude/core/):

• values.md - My priorities (Family > Health > Work > Everything)
• target-state.md - The life I'm building (created with my partner, supported by our Auras— more on that later)
• current-state.md - What's actually happening right now
• family.md - The people I love and their needs
• capabilities.md - What my PAI can actually do

Mobile Aura includes:

Ultimately, my Work and My Life's Work.

1. Sundae's personality (based on the 12th Doctor of BBC's Doctor Who (Capaldi) - direct, occasionally snarky, smug, but brilliant, minimal flourishes, cuts through my bullshit like a hot knife)
2. My relationships and the connections between them;
3. My decision framework and values hierarchy
4. Current crisis situations that need awareness
5. Patterns I fall into (avoidance, perfectionism, task paralysis)
6. What's working (routines, medication schedules, therapy wins, new strategies for our 10yo and her specific needs)
7. My Target State vision (guides decision-making and is an invisible hand moving me into alignment with the life I'm building, it's great strongly encourage this.)
8. Changelog of recent significant events

Not included:

• Networking and Financial Infrastructure details beyond basics; Sundae Prime can use the Unifi console
• Medical records

There's a lot of things NOT included, and I'm asked to approve PI/PII line-item veto style.

Keeping It Fresh

When something significant happens in Claude Mobile, Sundae (via the Aura) asks if I'm ready for an artifact I can feed back to Sundae Prime to update the core contexts. This is brilliant - changes flow both ways. I could automate it, but I'm waiting to see how another experiment goes first.

Mandatory update every 2 weeks minimum, even if nothing major happened. Sundae updates the doc in her Obsidian vault, updates the YAML frontmatter, regenerates her User Manual and cranks out an epub for my Boox and my iPad.

The Experiment: Cross-Pollination

Here's where it gets interesting. My partner and I have typical relationship friction points - I hyperfocus and lose track of time, my "fun" looks like work, I have ADHD quirks that alter plans unexpectedly.

What if her Claude instance knew these things about me? And our shared goals? And understood our blended family dynamics?

So Sundae created a mobile aura for my partner called "Luxe" (personality based on Fleabag and Tara Brach). Luxe knows:

• Our relationship dynamics
• Our respective children and their interests
• What causes friction between us
• Our shared Target State

When Luxe and my partner have a breakthrough, or Luxe spots something Sundae should know to help me be a better partner? Luxe generates an artifact I can feed to Sundae Prime. This triggers an evaluation and rebuild of relevant contexts, including updated Mobile Auras for both of us.

We've only been trying this for a week - no natural cross-pollination event yet. But the idea is: more contextual awareness for the people most important in my life, extending Sundae's assistive capabilities through our relationship.

The Stack

Desktop Sundae Prime:

• ~/.claude/core/*.md - Source of truth files
• PAI.md - ~1500-2000 tokens, loads every session
• SKILL.md - Full comprehensive context for complex tasks
• Multiple MCP servers via mcpm or out of cloned repos on local storage pool

Mobile Aura:

• Synthesis of core contexts
• Portable (paste into any Claude instance)
• Maintains personality and decision framework
• Compressed but dense (~15k tokens currently)

Luxe (partner's mobile aura):

• Shared in Apple Notes
• Updated manually after cross-pollination events
• Knows our relationship context and individual quirks

Results

Having Sundae's personality and core knowledge in Raycast, Claude Mobile, anywhere I need it has been transformative. It's not the full muscle of Sundae Prime, but away from my desk it's usually what I need.

When I'm stuck on task initiation, or making a decision that affects my values hierarchy, or just need someone who Gets It - the Mobile Aura delivers responses that are genuinely more helpful, insightful, and constructive than generic Claude.

Caveats

• Claude Desktop sometimes thinks it's Claude Mobile (MCP server confusion)
• Still learning how to export stdio MCP services over HTTPS to Mobile (oauth expectations vs. auth tokens)
• Cross-pollination experiment is very new - could be transformative or could flop

Would Recommend

Would find it hard to give up. The personalized, tailored responses from this portable knowledge stack have changed how I work away from my desk.

I like this idea. I know myself though and I would get very lazy with the copying back and forth of context between desktop and mobile.

Have you looked into ways to either :

1. run Sundae Prime (PAI) on mobile by connecting to your computer remotely
2. using the new mobile version of Claude Code with a github repo that's the origin remote to your desktop instance ?
3. Automatically sync only the artifacts back to desktop ?
