The Fix

We've implemented a comprehensive solution:

1. New Setup Wizard (tools/setup/)

An interactive CLI that configures PAI for your system:

cd .claude/tools/setup && bun install && bun run setup.ts

It asks for:

• PAI directory path (default: ~/.claude)
• Your name and email
• Assistant name (default: "Kai")
• Color theme
• Voice server setup (macOS)
• Shell profile updates

And generates all config files with your paths - no hardcoding.

2. Updated install.sh

The voice server installer now:

• Uses $PAI_DIR environment variable (falls back to ~/.claude)
• Detects bun location automatically (~/.bun/bin, /opt/homebrew/bin, /usr/local/bin)
• Generates the plist from a template with correct paths

3. New Plist Template

com.paivoice.server.plist.template uses placeholders (__PAI_DIR__, __BUN_PATH__, __HOME__) that get substituted at install time.
