Complete migration to .macos

After converting from settings.sh to sourcing a .macos file, I need to revisit how those settings are applied. It wouldn't hurt to review those settings again and see what I'd like to turn on/off.

Review of settings is in progress. I think application of settings will become a manual thing that happens. (At least one of the settings changes requires a reboot.) I'll have to add relevant instructions to the README.

While reviewing settings that are applied, try to figure out how to disable Date & Time within the menu bar.
