Fresh build, latest 32 Bit OS release on a Pi3+. It will display the first item in the list and just stay there. I have 3 entries in the modified list. |

Can you please check if the switcher service is working? systemctl status piosk-switcher.service |

I think originally I was using X11 and then switched to Wayland. I'm going to try a fresh install and try again using Wayland. |

Hi, I've using a Pi4 with a HDMI Monitor output. pi@PiOSK-1:~ $ systemctl status piosk-switcher.service Aug 22 11:53:20 PiOSK-1 switcher.sh[1827]: Wayland connection failed echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE wtype ESC Manually hitting STRG + Tab is switching the chromium tab. Any ideas how to fix this? |

Hi! I had the same issue on a fresh Raspberry Pi OS installation. XiOSK displayed the first page in Chromium, but never switched tabs. Tab switching worked if I opened Chromium manually before starting XiOSK. What fixed it for me was forcing the Chromium instance launched by XiOSK to use Wayland. In /opt/xiosk/scripts/runtime/runner.sh, add: Then run sudo systemctl edit xiosk-runner.service and add the following above the “Edits below this comment will be discarded” line: Save the file, run sudo systemctl daemon-reload, and reboot so Chromium starts as a new process. XiOSK now switches tabs automatically after boot on my Raspberry Pi 4. |
