Harassment: Any form of harassment, including but not limited to:
- Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, age, race, national origin, ethnic origin, nationality, language, or religion
- Unwelcome comments regarding a person's lifestyle choices and practices
- Deliberate misgendering or use of rejected names
- Physical contact and simulated physical contact (e.g., textual descriptions like "hug" or "backrub") without consent or after a request to stop
- Threats of violence
- Incitement of violence towards any individual, including encouraging a person to commit suicide or to engage in self-harm
- Deliberate intimidation
- Stalking or following
- Harassing photography or recording, including logging online activity for harassment purposes
- Sustained disruption of discussion
- Unwelcome sexual attention
- Pattern of inappropriate social contact, such as requesting/assuming inappropriate levels of intimacy with others
- Continued one-on-one communication after requests to cease
- Deliberate "outing" of any aspect of a person's identity without their consent except as necessary to protect vulnerable people from intentional abuse
- Publication of non-harassing private communication

Trolling: Deliberately disrupting discussions or making inflammatory comments

Discrimination: Any form of discrimination based on protected characteristics
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it by:
- Email: conduct@aport.io
- Discord: Contact a moderator in our Discord server
- GitHub: Use the "Report" feature on GitHub
Reports will be handled by the APort team. We will:
- Acknowledge: Confirm receipt of your report within 24 hours
- Investigate: Review the situation thoroughly and fairly
- Respond: Take appropriate action and communicate the outcome
- Follow up: Check in to ensure the issue is resolved
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Consequences may include:
- Warning: A private, written warning
- Temporary ban: A temporary ban from the community
- Permanent ban: A permanent ban from the community
- Legal action: In severe cases, we may involve law enforcement
This code of conduct applies to:
- All APort community spaces (Discord, GitHub, forums, etc.)
- All APort events (meetups, conferences, etc.)
- All APort projects and repositories
- All public interactions when representing APort
