For anyone waiting on this: #507 has been open since September and isn't in a release yet, so DeviceKit 5.9.0 doesn't recognize iPhone19,4. In the meantime, DeviceLookup, a DeviceKit replacement I maintain, has it today:
Device details are data rather than enum cases, taken from Xcode's device list and Apple's Mac pages, and a weekly CI job opens a PR when new identifiers appear. So new hardware doesn't wait on a code change, and an identifier that isn't in the data yet still resolves to the right family. Device is also Sendable and never touches UIDevice, so it works from any actor under Swift 6.
There's a migration guide if you want to switch. Thanks to the DeviceKit maintainers. DeviceLookup's chip and screen-size data started from DeviceKit's.
