Description
Monetary Compensation
Developers receive a base pay of $2.⁵⁰ per percentage hour (“ʜ͋”) (~$10 / Babylonian hour). Navigating or Driving qualifies them for an additional $1 ⅌ ʜ͋ with eventual bonuses and penalties based on the peer review of their work. Managing comes with a $0.⁵⁰ ⅌ ʜ͋ stipend.
I'd like the rates to be $3.⁷⁵ & $4.⁷⁵ ⅌ ʜ͋ (~ $15 to $20 ⅌ hour), but whatever the base pay, it is multiplied by the four coders at a time, plus the bonus for Driving & Navigating, times 100 ʜ͋ ⅌ day. There's also a two ʜ͋ overlay when participants are cycling in and out, so that's an additional ~ 20 ʜ͋ ⅌ day.
The Navigator is chosen by the Manager for the session, hopefully based on input from the rest of the team. The Driver may be one of the coders, but my also be chosen from the audience gallery.
At $2.⁵⁰ ⅌ ʜ͋ the total should be somewhere around $2.⁵⁰ ⨯ 100 ⨯ 4 + $1 ⨯ 100 ⨯ 2 + $0.⁵⁰ ⨯ 100 + 20 ⨯ $2.⁵⁰ = $1,300 ⅌ day. At $3.⁷⁵ ⅌ ʜ͋ base, that's ~ a ⅓ bump to $1,725. The difference over a week is $9,100 vs. $12,775.
Participation is measured through their connection to a live stream of the process. There is an option to change the Navigator & Driver at the top of each ʜ͋ (~ every 15 Babylonian minutes).
Tokens
For participating in the process, developers receive tokens from an ERC-1151 contract that increases their voting power in the decision of who will work which shift. Also, it grants them access to view streams and, eventually, to participate in the peer review.
