Pause on New Public Marketplace Extension Submissions
Effective immediately
What is changing?
Effective immediately, we have paused new submissions to the public Docker Extensions Marketplace.
This means:
- You cannot submit a new extension to the public Marketplace.
- Submissions already in progress are paused and will stay on hold until the review is complete.
What is not changing?
- You can still submit updates to your existing published extensions.
- Your published extensions stay live in the public Marketplace.
- Private Marketplace extensions are not affected by this pause.
- Users can still install and run extensions as normal.
Why we are doing this?
We are carrying out a security review of the public Marketplace. Pausing new submissions lets us do this without adding new risk while the review is underway.
How long it will last?
We do not have a fixed end date yet. We will update this notice as soon as we can share more.
Questions
