According to SMS Power and Sega Retro, correct title screen is

But current Gearsystem(3.7.0) has

(Both standalone Gearsystem and libretro has that corrupted title screen)

Thanks for reporting. The mapper looks ok. The problem is an invalid interrupt ack at $5C49 that I should investigate in the future.
