In 2025, PHP still remains the go-to environment of low cost websites. I have seen lots of events hack Dribdat/Backboard into Wordpress using IFRAME's. This is a sucky solution, terrible for accessibility. Having a plugin in the Wordpress catalog would add to the visibility of the project.
I've set up a basic repository from a Wordpress Cookiecutter template: https://codeberg.org/dribdat/wp-everyhack
Other PHP based systems to consider supporting: Drupal, CakePHP, Kirby.
