Something amiss in rpi-echo.py

At line 49 looks like it got cutoff and restarted.
Not sure what is needed and what is not.

Hmmmmm also, echo is not discovering, but the logfile looks fine, here's a snippet

I also found the same issue.

1. It gives the code error as the function and import somewhere messed up in rpi-echo.py
2. Also after fixing (i don't know python though) it gives the above error mentioned by you.
